Integration

Send meaningful conversion signals to Meta.

DATALYR connects recorded business events with Meta conversion delivery. Choose the outcome you want to send, map its value and destination, and inspect delivery evidence so a successful payment can become a useful advertising signal rather than an unverified background request.

Compare plans and usage

A browser event is only one part of conversion measurement.

A checkout can finish after the browser journey ends, while payment evidence arrives on a server. Sending that business outcome requires deliberate event mapping. Duplicate browser and server records, incorrect currency or the wrong destination can undermine the signal even when a connection appears healthy. Keep a record of the tested rule configuration.

Business-event triggers

Create rules around events that represent the outcome your team actually values. Separate purchase, lead and trial milestones so an optimization signal retains a consistent meaning across the funnel.

Destination control

Review the selected Meta asset and event mapping before enabling delivery. Clear rule ownership makes it easier to investigate a missing conversion without changing several unrelated tracking components at once.

Deduplication review

Check how browser and server representations of the same action are identified. A matching event strategy prevents the two transports from being interpreted as two independent business outcomes.

The workflow

From setup to a useful answer.

  1. Connect the intended asset

Authorize Meta through Sources and confirm access to the required destination. Record which business event will trigger delivery and which existing browser implementation already reports that same customer action.

  2. Map the conversion

Configure the rule’s standard event, amount and currency. Use the actual business outcome rather than a convenient pageview, and inspect matching fields without adding data the destination should not receive.

  3. Verify both sides

Send an appropriate test and inspect DATALYR delivery information alongside Meta’s event tools. Then verify a real permitted outcome, checking event identity and value before relying on aggregated conversion totals.

Verify the result

Know what good looks like.

  • The rule targets the intended Meta destination and standard event.
  • Value and currency match the underlying business outcome.
  • Browser and server copies use a deliberate deduplication strategy.

A few practical questions.

Does CAPI guarantee better ad performance?

No. Delivery supplies a signal; performance also depends on audience, offer, creative and the platform’s optimization behavior. Validate signal accuracy separately from any claim about incremental advertising results.

Can server delivery bypass consent requirements?

No. Changing the transport does not change the responsibilities attached to the data. Review collection permission, destination eligibility and the actual payload before enabling a conversion rule.
