Compare spend with the revenue behind it.

Review ad spend, campaign performance and attributed revenue in DATALYR. Keep platform-reported conversions distinct from first-party outcomes. Use clear dates, currencies and definitions when evaluating paid media.

Compare plans and usage

The same label can hide different numbers.

A platform ROAS metric and a first-party attributed revenue report can answer different questions. The attribution windows, event definitions and reporting calendars may differ. DATALYR brings paid-media data and recorded business outcomes into one working environment so your team can inspect the basis of a number before deciding to scale or stop a campaign.

Ad analytics software

Move through campaign levels

Analyze supported ad data at the campaign, ad-set or ad level. Match the granularity to the decision instead of assuming a channel average explains every creative.

Keep source definitions visible

Review provider-reported results alongside your own revenue analysis. Differences are a starting point for reconciliation, not a reason to silently substitute one figure for another.

Respect currency and freshness

Check reporting currency and source freshness before combining data. A delayed integration or incompatible currency can create a misleading comparison even when the arithmetic is correct.

The workflow

From setup to a useful answer.

  1. Connect the relevant accounts

Authorize the supported advertising sources and confirm which accounts are included. Use a known campaign to verify that account selection and access are correct.

  2. Align the comparison

Choose a period and define whether the question concerns platform delivery or first-party revenue. Record the attribution model and currency where relevant.

  3. Investigate before reallocating

Inspect a material change at a narrower level. Check tracking coverage, source timing and revenue definitions before treating a one-day movement as a durable performance shift.

Verify the result

Know what good looks like.

  • The included ad accounts match the intended business scope.
  • Currency and reporting dates are compatible.
  • Platform-reported and attributed revenue are labeled separately.

A few practical questions.

Can I add spend from every platform together?

Only when the reporting basis is compatible. DATALYR source data can carry provider-specific currency and calendar rules; do not blend totals that warn against combination.

Is ROAS the same as profit?

No. Revenue divided by ad spend does not include every cost. Use a defined margin or profit analysis when the decision depends on what remains after fulfillment and other costs.
